When Maci's mom came to us and asked if we could create an artsy party for her daughter we were so excited to get involved. Drawing, painting, and being crafty is some of my favorite hobbies and to be able to bring an artsy party to life was totally in my wheelhouse. We even added some extra special touches to Maci's own artwork.
The Venue
The venue was at the Delaplaine Arts Center located in Frederick, MD. The art center is home to many rotating exhibitions, workshops, summer camps, and most of all a private rental space. We thought this would be a perfect fit for an "Artsy Bat Mitzvah".
The Entrance
Guest entered a space decorated with colorful Chinese lanterns that hung on the ceiling for an extra pop of color. Each round guest table matched the colors on a paint pallet.
Decor Details
Each guest table centerpiece consisted of key painter tools. For example, a paint bucket, a paint pallet, a bottle of paint, paintbrushes, and of course a sample of Maci's art.
On each place setting, we set different colored napkins, a paint color sample notebook, and a wooden paintbrush pen. These also were the guest's favors.
Cupcake Tower
The cupcake tower consisted of multiple different flavored cupcakes provided by 4 The Love Of Sweets located in Frederick, MD. I have never seen cupcakes that were so beautifully done and also tasted so good that everyone had more than one. We ended up with no leftovers. If you are in the area and need cupcakes 4 The Love Of Sweets is the place to go.
Cupcake Plates
For the final touches, we added paint pallets with different colored sprinkles for guests to use as a plate for their cupcakes.
We thank all our wonderful vendors who came together to create this fun event with us!
